Susannah was born in Georgia, and grew up in the Carolinas. She called Columbia, South Carolina home, while spending her summers in High Point, North Carolina with her grandparents. After high school, she attended the College of Charleston where she graduated with the Bachelor of Arts.
Susannah began her career working for Wachovia (now Wells Fargo) in their branches in and around Charleston. From there she moved to software sales working for Datastream (now Infor) and settled in the Upstate of South Carolina. Always looking to learning something new, she then moved to the insurance industry while her children were young. She’s never looked back. With her financial background, she is well suited to advise individuals and groups on how to best insure their employees.
She has always been involved in her community. She began in high school working with SIS (Society for Irmo’s Service). Throughout college she volunteered with her sorority for Children’s Miracle Network. She is a trained rape counselor and spent many years working for the Greenville Sexual Trauma Center (now Julie Valentine) the Greenville Memorial ER (now Prisma). She has spent many hours volunteering with her church, Christ Church Episcopal.
"I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You got me insurance for the first time in years. It came just in time. At the end of July I got covid19. After days of being sick I was rushed to the hospital in Respiratory distress.
Oxygen level dropping in the 60. 1 spent 8 long days fighting hard to beat covid19. I did. I came home on oxygen and went to Dr's weekly. I'm healing little by little. But had it not been for you helping me get insurance I know I would of probably died. Without knowing I had insurance I would not of gotten medical attention in fear of bills and not being able to work for almost 2 months would if lost my insurance if I had a monthly payment. I am thankful to you and God for me beating covid 19. I am on the road to a full recovery. Thank you for all you do for people like me. I hope and pray that God continues to bless you."
